Chaihuín Seafood Smoothie recipe
Ingredients
- 500 ml of Chilean white wine
- 6 mussels
- 2 piures
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ½ onion
- Seafood broth
- Cilantro
- Sunflower oil
- Sea salt
- Merkén (Chilean spice)
- Ice (optional)
Preparation
- Prepare and arrange all the ingredients separately before starting the preparation (mise en place).
- In a blender, combine the Choro Zapato mussels, piures, garlic cloves, a few sprigs of cilantro, a few drops of oil, a splash of seafood broth, and blend at medium speed until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Incorporate the Chilean white wine, a pinch of sea salt, merkén to taste, optionally some ice, and mix at low speed to combine everything. Check the seasoning and adjust to taste if necessary.
- Serve the Chaihuín seafood smoothie immediately in flute-type glasses, optionally with merkén adhered to the rim of the glass and garnished with lemon slices and fresh cilantro sprigs.
