The prestigious magazine Taste Atlas once again recognized Chilean gastronomy as one of the best cuisines in the world.
The “Taste Atlas Awards” ranking positioned the top 100 cuisines worldwide, highlighting Italy, Japan, and Greece in the first places.

The list was compiled based on 395,205 dish ratings and 115,660 food product ratings, with Chile achieving a score of 4.42, behind Iran and ahead of Lilano.
According to the evaluations, among the national foods that stood out were merquén; Chancho cheese, piure, Chilean king crab, Panquehue cheese, and 90 other products.

It is important to note that this is not the first time Chilean cuisine has been recognized in this important international ranking, as in previous occasions, dishes such as completo, Italian churrasco, barros luco, pastel de choclo, and chancho en piedra were highlighted as some of the best dishes in America.
