Chile's 2024 National Holidays

Chile’s 2024 Fiestas Patrias are set to be exceptionally festive due to the number of public holidays that Chileans will enjoy.

This year, the celebration of independence and military glory will be extended, allowing everyone to enjoy an extended period of rest and festivities.

What days are the September 18 holidays in 2024?

For Fiestas Patrias 2024, the public holidays are scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, and Thursday, September 19.

Additionally, there will be an extra and exceptional holiday on Friday, September 20, bringing the total number of holidays in that week to three.

Adding to these three days off are Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, resulting in a total of five consecutive days for celebration.

For those fortunate enough to have Monday, September 16, and Tuesday, September 17, off, the break could extend up to nine days if Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15, are also included.
