Healthy Mixed Salad recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 large lettuce
  • 1 avocado
  • ½ red onion
  • Olive oil
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

  1. Remove the lettuce leaves and wash them thoroughly in cold water, drain the water with a large colander or a salad spinner, and set aside. Peel and slice the tomatoes, dice the avocado, and julienne the onion, set everything aside.
  2. In a large bowl or salad dish, tear the lettuce leaves with your hands and add the tomato, avocado, and onion. Optionally, add a bit of garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss everything with a wooden spoon and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  3. Serve the mixed salad immediately, well chilled, either alone or as a side dish to other main courses.

Additional tips

This is a basic recipe to which you can add any vegetables or even fruits you have at home, and you can also prepare a vinaigrette based on honey.
