The international portal TasteAtlas crowned Cola de Mono, a traditional Chilean year-end drink, as the best cocktail in the world in 2023.
This exquisite preparation received an extraordinary rating of 4.7 out of 5, the highest among all competitors.

The Cola de Mono, also known as “colemono,” surpassed Puerto Rico’s coquito and the rum punch from the Bahamas. In fourth place, we find the famous Cuban mojito and Brazil’s caipirinha.
Other Chilean cocktails in the ranking include the piscola, in 31st place with a score of 4; followed by the terremoto in 58th place with a score of 3.9; and the vaina in 99th place with a score of 3.3.
