In a recent list compiled by renowned English wine critic Alistair Cooper, Chile once again stands out for the quality of its wines.
With over 20 years of experience and the prestigious title of Master of Wine, Cooper selected the 47 best Chilean wines after tasting a total of 850 samples from 89 wineries during his visit to local vineyards and producers.
His goal was to highlight wines that excel in quality, authenticity, and the unique characteristics of Chile’s various wine-producing regions.
Cooper, who annually publishes the “Alistair Cooper MW by Catad’or Wine Guide,” is recognized for his work as a judge in international wine competitions. This year, his journey through Chile’s wine valleys led to a selection of the finest in categories such as red, white, rosé, sparkling, and fortified wines.
